Surely ever presented to us the need to extract the color of an object in real life for use in a drawing, no easy task when it comes to drawing or writing similarly, yes with pen and paper, because in the digital field things change, because here we have a greater number of tools at our disposal to help us find the desired color.

This is the idea behind Cronzy a pen equipped with technology that allows you to capture colors to replicate and then use them in pictures or texts, which right now seeks to be a reality through a funding campaign in Indiegogo.

Cronzy, the pen of 16 million colors

The idea behind Cronzy is simple but very practical, as its creators claim that through integrated at the upper end of the device camera, it will be able to identify colors for a system of solenoid valves and an algorithm to mix CMYKW colors later to draw or write with them, a mixture offers up to 16 million colors.

In addition to this, the pen feature Bluetooth connection to link to our smartphone through an application compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Phone, from which we can store colors, make mixes on our own and save our favorite or most used colors.

Cronzy battery is recharged via its case which has a micro USB port, which also included five points of different diameters that will serve to create a variety of drawings and details on paper.

Although the idea may sound appealing, there are many details that are unknown in this device, as its autonomy, camera specifications, the mixing of colors and generally the technology used to do what it promises, and only they mentioned that ink cartridges should be used much like printers.

Remember that this is a project of crowdfunding, which does not ensure that the project will be a reality, but if you still are interested in purchasing a Cronzy pen, its price during the campaign Indiegogo is $ 139, which will be used to finance the campaign still has two months to go.
