Whether we like it or not, it is becoming more popular to take photos of everything you eat or drink. At the end of the day, the arrival of the “stories” to all the applications and for having you incite to share more this type of content: frequent and decrepit.

And just like there are a thousand and one applications that specialize in self-making to make you look much more handsome, handsome and thin, there are also applications to make your food look as delicious as possible. At least that is what they claim, and you can be the judge to determine whether it’s true or not.

Foodie

Foodie is the food photo application of LINE, and a sort of spin-off of LINE Camera. It works just like any camera application, with the unique peculiarity of including filters specially designed for food.

It has approximately 30 filters in categories like Yummy, Tropical, Sweet, Fresh, Chewy, Crispy, BBQ and Romantic. The effect of most cases is similar: an image with higher contrast and saturation.

  • Developer: LINE Corporation
  • Download it on: Google Play

FoodBud

FoodBud describes itself as an application to take pictures of your food in style. The truth is that the styles, or filters, are quite limited and in my experience I could not really say that they make the food seem more delicious. They are rather the usual filters ever.

Another point to keep in mind is that you cannot use the filters in applications of your gallery and that in general the camera works quite slow when we compare it with other applications like Foodie.

Yummy Effect

Yummy Effect is another application that promises to turn your boring photos of coffees and sausages into authentic works of art. Unlike FoodBud, here you cannot make the photos with the application itself, but you should import them from the gallery.

The truth is that filters really have very few, only nine, although it compensates with options to adjust the color and contrast manually that provides a fairly acceptable result and, in a way, better than the pre-designed filters.

Food’s Life Camera

Food’s Life Camera is not going to make your photos of food more delicious, but come alive. You can add stickers of eyes, mouths, hands and mustache to your dishes with this simple application. Why? That is another issue.

Food Photo Frames

After seeing applications to add filters and stickers … what are we missing? The frames, of course. Here comes Food Photo Frames, the application with frames specially designed to accompany food photos.

Food Photo Frames includes about 40 frames ready to use with culinary motifs. You can also add texts and filters, although they are not too suitable for use with food photos, everything is said.
